I work at that a lot. But honestly, it’s getting easier and easier to just withdraw. I don’t talk to people about most things. I don’t argue, because most people aren’t interested in honest debate. They’re interested in shouting everyone else down.
I prefer to touch grass and love the ones I love. The world will be there tomorrow even if we aren’t.”

True empathy, as opposed to what the massive new age propaganda has worked to brainwash us to believe, is never about forcing oneself to love everything and everyone. It’s about finding out one’s natural love and predisposition to care for some things that one already naturally cares about, things that one might have forgotten or never even knew about them. It’s about being simple, decent and honest about what you care for, who you care about, and then… truly pouring oneself with your totality, time, energy, effort and attention… in those things. That’s how we grow both the world and ourselves at once. Denisa
