The Chiron-Eris conjunction, the truth that meets the lie
We are approaching a quintessential moment.
The March 19, Chiron-Eris conjunction. The last of the 3 encounters between these two significant forces, that only happens once in 50 years. I don’t know if you can feel it… but there’s an extreme profundity under the surface, at this moment. In my opinion this is one of the most decisive moments of the recent years and the years to come.
The astrology is, again, quite unprecedented. Today on the 18th there is the New Moon in Pisces, tomorrow the 19th the Chiron-Eris conjunction in Aries and on the 20th the Equinox, the official start of Spring. There is also an array of planets concentrated in the same area of the sky where the conjunction takes place.

Eris represents discord, lies and deceptions. She created the apple of discord that initiated the Trojan War, a war won through deception. She is the mother of Pseudea (Lies) and Ate (Delusion). She is also sister to Ares (the god of war) and Apate (Deceit).
Chiron represents integrity, wisdom, higher knowledge and healing, unifying both aspects of existence, animal and man, human and god.
So we have an outermost confrontation of forces.
Between a highly skilled and extremely focused force of deceit and manipulations, that has worked to control and subvert humanity for who knows how long. And a force of liberation, truth and integration, shedding light on the obscure, backwards type of reality we’ve all been slogging through without knowing.

And there’s also a theme of duplicity. Eris mirrors the Black Swan, an agent of deception herself, sent to fool Prince Siegfried in the Swan Lake story, preventing the curse on the swans from being broken. She makes herself look like the real swan princess, but she’s an impostor, a fraud.
On the other hand we have the Trojan Horse mirroring Chiron, but here instead of having a real human-horse individual we have a fake horse filled with conspiring humans, bringing down the city of Troy.
In both of these stories there is an overarching theme, a challenge to distinguish between what’s real and what’s not, what’s truly good and what’s essentially evil. With the imperative lesson being played… the irremediable consequences of not being able to make this distinction. In the Swan Lake story, the prince is fooled into marrying the counterfeit princess and (in the original ballet version) the curse on the swans endowed for eternity. In the Trojan War, the people of Troy are fooled by the false gift, and the city of Troy falls into destruction.
If we look in society right now, it might be obvious what the “false gift”, the “trojan horse”, the “black swan” is. That which tries to mimic and resemble us, while trying to replace and almost entirely abolish the most essential qualities of what makes us human.
Chiron also mirrors Prince Siegfried, as both are embodiments of the Spirit, the higher conscience in all of us, that has to arise and brake through the spell of this ultimate deception.
So this is an outermost encounter. Between the real and the artificial, the truth and the lie.
